My understanding off the stage references. Approx. Bhp after each entry. Several notes, most people at stage 3 have ICs. Oil Coolers are also prevalent but also not included in the stage definitions.

1 = Chip. 315
2 = Chip + Catback. 325
2+ = Chip + full exhaust. 350
3- = K04 + RS4 pipework. 380
3 = Full K04 kit, Injectors, MAF, Y pipe. Spark Plugs, adapters or RS4 fuel rail. 420
4 = Hybrids + full stage 3. 480

It'd be interesting to have an idea of cost for each of these stages. I know a remap is around £500, what about the rest?

Seriously, Mihnea will give you a better idea (and it will depend on what systems you opt for and where you go of course), but my best estimates are :-

Stage 1 : £500 - £1,000
Stage 2 : £1,200 - £1,500
Stage 2+ : £2,500 - £3,500
Stage 3- : £4,000 - £5,500
Stage 3 : £6,000 - £8,000
Stage 4 : no idea!
