Evening!

Thanks for all the replies , im a respectable RS6 driver with just the MTM exhaust !!!
Lets just say we've come to agreement .... Going down the route of exhaust , induction kit and then Revo stage 2 !
That way i'm happy to borrow it without sounding like some tw4t in some Jap crap .

Cheers

Chris

Get him onto the forum though. It'll be good for him to learn what's going on.

i guess another option would be to take him down to MRC in banbury and let him talk to Doug about what he wants to do and then let Doug suggest the correct way to do things .......... could be a lot cheaper in the long run

Second ChipHazzard's comments, forgo the induction kit and Revo. Spend the money saved at MRC on a custom remap IMHO.

For those among us that haven't been to the USA and been served by the delectable hooters, a must have accessory...

Right - it took me a while but I eventually managed to translate this (I am old and not particularly au-fait with "txt spk")

Just bin the idea of BOVs - they sound <beep> and the car is not designed for them; it's designed to use re-circ valves.

Good plan Chris, a couple of decent mods/items to do:

Revo
DV's (I've just put some Forge 007p's on my S4, they do a different top for them with a side mount for the vac hose as well. If you run these you won't have it rubbing on the mount for the charge pressure sender in the throttle body boot)
Exhaust and decent filters (non-oiled)

Depending on the age it'd be best to put some money into refreshing her somewhat; Cambelt, tensioners, lambda probes, temp sensor, throttle body boot, etc.

Brakes, transmission mounts and stabilisor and anti-roll bars I'd put high on the list as well...

...depends on the budget!

Where are you based? I'm sure there's a decent Revo dealer local to you that can help out!

if he must then get dual piston type with bungs for y pipe but it will stall when on motorways letting off gently and shut the engine down, smoke more at idle ,throw you forward everytime you let off in traffic and also break other stuff
