Can any of the guys with the new RS4 18inch Replicas tell how much each wheel weighs?

One negative point about the B6 S4 wheels which I have is they are very heavy.... and as Kevin mentions you have to stick on 5mm spacers to clear the caliper.

Would be nice to get some lighter alloys that dont need spacers and the new RS4 wheels look very nice.....

Iv gone through the same thoughts myself - should i get some 18s or stick with stock. On a top marque motor like the S4 i came to the conclusion that stock is best and puttin aftermarkets on risks makin look like an A4 (or worse still an A4 tryin to be an S4 :) )

Cheers S4-99 -

Its ABT kit, comprises of Eibach springs(i believe) and Bilstien shocks, on the car when i got it, got some H&R's to go on  - full tank of juice in it when piccy taken .. does ride ok.. but had H&R's on my last S4 and that did the job better -- IMO .... :drink:

regardless of what wheels you put onto your S4, people who dont know about Audi's will always think it's an A4 a very nice A4. Until you put your foot down and then, well thats another subject :D

Stock wheels do look good, but 18's in a different style look better IMO.

Look at some of the pic's posted and see if it will sway you

I saw one for sale with the 18" A8 wheels and I didn't think it suited the S4. Can't say I like them much on the A8 either though...

Cheers Kevin,
Like the colour I will keep tracking the wheels I have a figure in mind so I will see.
S4 99 how much would you want for your wheels if you were changing I presume they are unmarked?

B6 S4 wheels

Post by CliveH » Tue Mar 07, 2006 9:56 pm

I've got the B6/B7 18" S4 wheels on mine - I went for these because they retain the original look but give you the bigger wheels.

If I change, I would go for either the RS4 reps or RS6 wheels (18" either way)

CheeRS David - that was taken after it was lowered (by about 40mm - stands at 64cm all round now)

Cheeky bugger about the spanners - just remember mine are the new, clean ones when it comes to handing them back...!

Springfield

i dont know what figure you have in mind, but on previous posts I recall people on here importing them (B6 18") from Germany for about £700 including 4 Continental tyres. Good price all in all.
