Hiya, I want to fit some new spark plugs, I've got hold of tips off s4biturbo.com on how to do it but no one meantions the gaps I should use or the torque settings for refitting the plugs. Any of you guys help?
If possible could I have the gaps quoted in both metric and old school, not sure what measures I've got in the garage. Or do Audi supply the plugs pre-gapped?
thanking you

RE: Spark plug gaps and torque settings
You shouldnt need to worry about the gapping if you buy original plugs. Get a set of RS4 plugs from Vagparts as they are very good.

Tightening torque
Spark plug to cylinder head (all engines) 30 Nm (22 ft-lb)
.032 claimed for stock. However gap seems to be more like .028 (.71mm) when measured.
Audi plugs are pre gapped and should not need adjusting.
