Drain Holes!!!

Post by GDS968 » Fri Sep 05, 2008 3:21 pm

Just had the windscreen rplaced on my S4 and noticed that the area immediately below the screen by the ECU seems to have rather a lot of water in it, should there be drain holes here chaps and if so where, cause I can't see them. cheers

under the battery - it often gets clogged up, you need to take the battery out and then unblock - i have used compressed air to do that in the past or just a finger

Or you can remove it from underneath the car.

BTW, there is another drain plug somewhere on the bulkhead.

There are two drains on the B5.
One under the battery and the other under the servo.
Stick you finger in the "hole" to clear.

Take out the rubber grommets, and then cut the "flower" part of the grommet. So that way you still have the rubber grommet in place, so thus no rust issues, but water will still get through
