They are easy to fit, but running on snow etc I would rather have a softer setup. Should give more grip.

to save a new topic does anyone know the length of the rear drop links as sure its plastic so want to replace it incase it breaks when uprating the ARB's. What about the fronts are they prone to breaking or aree they stronger ( sure i read some where they were metal)

Ok, i'm confused. I won't be here forever so want them to work well when I'm back in the UK.

Are the larger ones stiffer? I thought they were both adjustable?

I was just looking at improving the ride, for what seems a reasonable amount of cash.

the stock plastic droplinks are fine - I run them on the thick rear arb with adapters to to give you a 3rd or 4th stiffer setting.

I cannot reommend the stiff arbs - if you only do one mod to the handling of the car, get them on. SPend 10 minutes adjusting th esnub mount to stop some engine/box moevement.

Snub mount adjustment! first time I've heard that. Please tell...

And I assume you can't recommend the ARB's 'enough'

Thanks guys, I am liking the idea of these...... :)

I feel comfortable with my car up to 7/10th's, after that the handling makes the whole thing less fun....these arbs seem to be the answer.....I was likely to do DTS anyhow. :)
2000 B5 S4 facelift, sadly missed...enjoying the 2005 A2 TDi Special Edition though!

Can't remember exactly how bad body roll was pre-ARB's, but they transform the handling of the car, I've still got standard dampers fitted but the ARB's are enough to inspire confident cornering :)

These are the thicker of the two available S4 anti-rollbars kits. These are in stock for next day delivery. If you order directly I will throw in the carriage.
Give me a ring when you are ready

Totally second that - when i got my ARBs put on it completely transformed the cornering handling of the car ... excellent mod.

So the thicker ARB's and the H+R coilovers and the car should have brilliant handling? Am i right? My s2 at the moment feels like a tank, but the UR which has Konis and HR's feels a lot crisper

Well I went for the 'poor mans' version of coilovers: I just got the H&R Sports springs and had them put on the stock dampers - had the H&R ARBs (thick, stiffest setting front and back) done at the same time ... the handling went from spongey and vague to hard, sharp and precise.

don't know - i've got a saloon and i've never driven an avant - no doubt an avant owner will be along shortly to tell you ...
