well ronald... i started with 25.. no good then 50 which was when i ran against kim...! then 75.. better!!! then 100? a proper kick in the ass .... the change from 50-100 took a second off my time and put my trap up to 115mph

as far as my project goes im just starting to put thing back on the car. i will start a new thred but please appreciate that im not going to give to much away as this has took months of reasearch "big up yourself adam"

im intrested to know wot rods you have forged to 1700hp
mine are forged to 1200 and 10.000 rpm and they cost me £2600 alone..

if id have know eh!!! id have brought them off you...

well, I have the cheapy ones SPM 290hp/rod. the tolerances (my friends kit was only 2gram diff IIRC) are not as good as the expencive ones but I can hopefully have the whole piston, rod, cranck assembly balanced and mach_weighted. Do you know the weight of yours and the stock ones?

Where was your wet injector? 115mph is good power. I got 116.8mph running over 1.5bar boost and 102oct

i agree!! here,s the times ...reaction-1.062 ..60ft-1.733 330ft-5.120
1/8th 7.8 1/8mph-91.26 1/4-12.222 1/4mph-112.39
i have a draw full of time slips of witch all are slower times but quicker reac times . 60ft . 1/8 ect.ect
i was thinking it would have been more myself but i have freinds that run 10s at under 100mph it just depends how quick you can slingshot it off the line and get it flat out..... i short shift mine as running gas you want to stay where the tourque is and not so much where peak bhp is....

I cant believe those rods are that expensive. are you sure it does not include pistons or maybe installation and balancing? My 6 rods were about £360! I'm from scandinavia so I'll skip the pod ; )
