The Ultimate Shine?
The Ultimate Shine?
Recently bought and rs6 plus and the stealers said their valetors spent hours on this car to get it just so for me driving nearly £400 miles, anyway wasnt overly impressed. So once i was back up the road i took it to my detailer who ive used before to work his magic, his names paul and the company is The Ultimate Shine, see if you can spot the difference before and after,

Re: The Ultimate Shine?
Exactly that. DIY is OK but as you rightly point out a pro will get better results, i have just spent 40 hrs on a Mazda RX8 with seriously thin paint, not only would the DIYer struggle with paint levels on a complex paint but timescale as well.Fifeaudi wrote:Well it took him 4 days solid, i dont have that time or the space to do that, plus i dont wire up my own sockets in the housethis is a professionals job,

Re: The Ultimate Shine?
Fair comment tbh , I started off being a bit sceptical then the wife bought me a pd gauge which helps and a detailer local to me gave me a lot of pointers ... Plus I can skive off into the garage away from her indoors and do a bit on the carsFifeaudi wrote:Well it took him 4 days solid, i dont have that time or the space to do that, plus i dont wire up my own sockets in the housethis is a professionals job,

Bloody nice result, looks fantastic
Have started to do mine DIY but I appreciate there is only so much I can do and I need a pro to get it done properly so I can then maintain. The more I do, the closer I look, the more I realise it needs sorted properly. Still I'm enjoying it and the results so will keep at it.

Re: The Ultimate Shine?
Amazing. It's a shame to get it dirty but so much easier to wash once detailed.
Re: The Ultimate Shine?
Get the right detailer and the results are incredible ! Before i had a family and a c5 I use to take my 996 to off your marks - zymol royale two coats. Wax would last we'll over a year - all you needed to do was wash, dry with leaf blower and field glaze and back to perfect!
