Its certainly not new as far as I know mate, its been around for years.lynchy wrote:ive just ordered collinite 476s wax i believe its there new product any body used it
Its a bloody good product though, I am still seeing water beading off mine since I did it coming on nine weeks ago now. Since then it has had one wash and is still looking good.
Your results are all in the prep though remember.

Have been using collinite 476s for some time now i think it is a great wax it will last for a long time and look great just do two thin coats, or if you like hard work you can use collinite 915 marque d'elegance premium a very hard wax will last a long time, nice deep finish you can warm the tin to help on application.

I use Swisswax cleaning fluid and then 2 coats of Colinite 476s in the winter and Zymol in the summer. Once the Zymol has run out I will switch to Dodo wax. I understand the founder used a chemist to find out the ingredience of Zymol and then manufactured Dodo wax to a similar spec! but much cheaper

i have got dodo juice purple haze also the dodo juice pre-wax cleaner also the collinite 476s wax .which would be better to use and what could i use to vanish the light scratches on the paint work with out messing it up or maybe any detailers would be a better idea .or is there any sort of wax that can hide the scratches.why did i get a black rs its a pain in the arse to keep clean twice a week help

Ideally you need some kind of polish to get rid of the light scratches.
All the waxes are doing is putting a protective layer on all your hard work/paintwork.
The Dodo pre-wax cleaner might help you to get rid of those light scratches but i doubt it
You need something like some Meguiars #83 or 80, or maybe some Poorboys SSR 2 or 2.5 or even some of the 3M stuff.

Lynchy as said ight scratches need to be removed by machine really. You can lessen there effect by hiding them using a product that contains fillers, best one in my opinion is Autoglym super resin polish. Put on the super resin polish then top it with the dodo purple haze and see if that helps.
Another recommedation for Collinite 915.
I've been through god knows how many waxes and polishes, AG SRP + UDS/ EGP combo's, Chemical Guys, Swissvax, Dodo, Megs Stage products, NXT and Gold Class but to name a few, but for durability and deep shine 2 coats of Collinite 915 on top of a decent polish and glaze lasts ages and for me can't be matched on durability.

collinite 476s has been the best wax ive used so far .i have got the 915 on order so i will try that next . i have used dodo juice purple haze before its good but doesnt seem to last as long as the collinite 476s

Like people say, prep is the biggest difference, I use meguires hyper wash in a foaming bottle for the first soak, then wash off, then foam on again and use a lamb wool mitt to clean all the dirt off. then hose off and use a microfiber towel to dry. Next I use meguires clay with detailing spray (this makes a huge difference), then on to the autoglym ultra deep shine polish, then I use a BMW glaze which I got from a friend at work, and finally I use Poor Boys Nattys Blue Wax which is designed for darker colours.
It turned out like this.
