Keeping the Alcantara clean

Post by anito » Mon Feb 27, 2006 11:05 am

Hello guys,

What do people use for keeping their alcantara in tip top condition. I ordered my S4 with the light grey lining which could quite easily get grubby looking.

When it does get dirty what should I use?
Can I treat it with anything to protect it (Something like a scotch guard?)

cheers

Dont use anything on it, will go patchy........ just use a light brush, I use a nail brush dry.. but then I dont put my hands or somebody else's feet on the head cloth........ :bigblink:

I Use a mild diluted degreaser i get from my supply guy. I dilute it 5water to 1 degreaser. squirt lightly misting the area using a clean terrycloth or brush to lightly agitate and remove dirt, and then compressed air to blow of and dry. I also use it to clean headliners without issue and to clean the rest of the cabin with different methods. Its called "Hot Shot" and its from P&S
heres the link. http://www.pssales.com/products/degrease.html
dont over use it, just like i suggested will work wonders on almost any dirt or stain... ieven use it in laundry and other things..hehe
its one of my miracle chemicals i use all the time.
