Anyone recommend a body work painter in the Midlands?

Unfortunately, my front bumper needs painting Absolute Red because a stone chip has gone nasty and lifted the laquer off :(

Try AutoRestore who errect their own portable spray booth. Will pm contact details for one guy who comes highly recommended - just tell him I sent you cause he gets v busy.

You could try rapid auto body repairs 0121-556-0549

I've been in there twice for accident damage and they did an excelletn job both times. They are in Darlaston

Bit of a late response, but just in case... Have used Selbys in Nottingham a couple of times with excellent results; they are an independant bodyshop that specialise in Porsche & Audi.
