Shame - B5s are going to get less and less unless they are cared for - there's a good few decent cars being broken for parts already for no reason except reluctance to pay new price for parts!

Have you asked who's it is and if it's for sale?

Nope it's by my local train station and I'm always late. Might pop in on Weds out of interest.

The car was stolen from a car park at Heathrow, by one of the staff, and then used for a bank job. It's a mess and a write-off, one wing mirror and one tyre was about the only thing I thought might be useful.

Shame. If anyone thinks they might want a spare of something, let me know.

Hi Bob,

This is my local garage and I too had a chat with the owner the other day when I took mine in for check up on he ramps. I live in the next village. Yes it was nicked from a Airport parking for a job and the owner is trying to get the insurance back on it but having a hard job apparently. I too asked about parts :) and suggested he break it and sell on here. Apparently the interior and engine etc are fine as is most of the interior, failing the running gear he could move most of it. Real shame to see them left like this though been here a while :(

How funny, they were talking about an RS6 they had there recently - so that was yours! Did you take them for a spin!? I spoke to the mechanic who looks a bit like Grant Mitchell, and he seemed nice enough. I really wanted to take mine to Bedwyn this morning, (great X-country drive from Pewsey!) but parking is becoming a bit more hazardous... I even thought about asking the cheeky question of a few quid to park in the garage for the day!

As for the car, the interior is... hmm. OK. It's clearly never seen a sponge in its life and apparently the owner who lives opposite(?) didn't look after it. Perhaps see you around, I'll soon spot a Plus, if yours is cognac leather it would be identical to mine!

It's still in the hands of the insurer, but more than happy to keep an eye on it for you, or ask some more questions. I expect it will be very cheap to get hold of...

Im not sure your want this one Amar! :) its seen better days and sits in the Goodwood green which looks like its been attacked by acid. but yes once hes sorted the insurance Im sure he will break it or sell it for a steal. I havnt met the owner however but seen the car about in the past.

Yes Bob that will be mine but Im in natual not gognac! :) Not many of us about in these here parts! and yes they had a look at it the other day ( in fact picked it up from my house) for an MOT. They also had it on the ramp to id the coolant leak for me which they did and now its in Audi being fixed after their mess up. :audibash: Nice bunch of chaps do the good simple jobs on mine I wouldnt let them loose on anything to big though...Ol grant got a bit excited when he drove her! 8) The owner Ed is a workoholic and runs a nice C4 s himself I think. If you want to park try the British Legion car park next door during the day or just park it down one of the streets aroud the corner near the doctors surgery where theres no charge. :) You could even park it up in the Tuns carpark... the pub has been closed for a few months now albeit news is a new landlord is in the wings! You local then?

Yep, very local, between M'borough and Pewsey (wootten rivers area) I should go from Pewsey to London but I like the easy pace of the 9.30 from Bedwyn! Will definitely bring the RS6 over to the station though, the drive through Savenake is very pleasant!
