Happy Insurance Renewal!

Post by audi_driver79 » Fri Apr 13, 2012 7:15 pm

Hi All,

The dreaded insurance renewal was coming up on both cars as I do multi-car so as usual I looked around for a good deal. There was virtually nothing and I was getting round to checking out Sky Insurance but decided to ring Admiral to get my renewal figure. To my surprise it was nigh on £200 cheaper this year even admitting to them I was probably going to up my mileage. Good times for a change :jump_clap:

Well I do live out in the styx really so that is a consideration and yes I was totally honest about the coilovers as I told them last year anyway. As far as I know my car is stock with no other tweaks, I am seriously considering a remap by Unit 20 this year though.

still cant believe my RS is cheaper to insure than a R32 (what i was thinking of buying)

I have to agree Admiral is pretty amazing - was with Adrian Flux for years, went with an Admiral Multi car policy and their quote was pretty amazing - and I live in London...

For the first time in about 3 years Admirals multicar was more expensive for the wife and I this year than separate policy's.

My biggest gripe with them is the cost of the customer service line.

Went with Admiral multicar this year, was very impressed. Declared the mods and they worked out cheaper than last year.
Both the RS4 and the wife's A3 covered for less than £500.

Got my RS6 and Skoda tdi Scout insured with Direct Line Multicar for £500. A bargain £200 premium for adding the RS6. Most impressed as my girlfriends renewal for her 1l polo was £700 with RAC insurance. Taking the piss!

Same for me, my insurance came down by over £200 by converting across to Multicar! I'm now paying less for all three cars than I was just for the RS alone :beerchug:
