Don't suppose the last 3 letters are a brand of disinfectant?

. I'm trying to be cryptic as he's gone to the effort of removing the letters.
Love this site. Been on some other sites recently and it's painful.

Doesn't ring a bell.
I guess you blank out the plate to make it slightly more difficult to get your registered address.

Wished I had blanked out the plates when I was selling my Jensen a few years ago. Someone at the Jensen owners club started posting that the car was a wreck, even though it had been fully restored since they had last seen it a few years before. When I complained, they asked me to prove it. Then a complete t*sser who had viewed the post pretended he wanted to buy it and kept my wife waiting at home all day with our 18m old son. He eventually turned up spent less than five mins looking at it and later gleefully posted about how he had wasted my time when he was really on his way to buy some other car. In the end I had to get a specialist to intervene to preserve my reputation. Even then, their line was something like "if he is telling the truth, the car might be okay after all". Eventually sold it to a dentist in Portugal who loved it and still sends me emails about it!
