Not sure if this has been put on here already but I took my 2008 S8 in for a service yesterday here in Grimsby Audi and when I collected the car she said there is a recall on Ceramic breaks so I am getting new ones put on for free.

The girl I spoke to did not know why there was a recall but she said the ones on my car are still safe to drive.

Sorry to disappoint you but the recall is to replace the mounting bolts that connect the discs to the bells, not to replace the dics themselves!!

A full check is made of the discs & they will be replaced if they're found to be faulty, but we've carried out a couple of these recalls & only the bolts were changed.
