Excessive Engine Oil

Took my S4 in for service to the stealers about 3 wks ago. Just noticed the engine oil level on the dipstick is almost twice the level it should be.

What are the implications of this? Have read elsewhere that it could have a detrimental effect on turbo's and CAT...

Do I need to drain some?

Cheers.

Check the manual on how you should check the oil, if it is still the case , take it back

It could get into the cat, causing you to fail an MOT emissions test. It could contaminate your O2 sensor(s) in the exhaust causing lack of power in the upper rev range and eventually CEL. It could also be whipped into a froth by the crank, causing your oil pump to blow bubbles around the system.

Drain some. Recheck.
