Use main dealers at your peril!

Forget the polish of fancy showrooms, the badge and the 'pedigree' and remember "all main dealers were once car traders".
Main dealers still only exist to help protect the manufacturer from the general public, and the ultimate responsibility for the product they have created.
Think about it!
If you buy a rank car from the Audi network, you will never have comeback with the manufacturer and the dealer will never refund your hard earned (short of long court proceedings).
You are left to fight with warranties and then ultimately taking a loss and putting the vehicle back into the dealer network for some other poor bugger to buy.
The only people in the industry that you can rely on are the aftermarket engineering and tuning companies like AMD or Kim Collins et all, they are enthusiasts, who at least want to try to get it right.
