Guildford Audi

Post by stan » Mon Aug 25, 2003 2:06 pm

Any comments on Guildford Audi ? They are now my nearest Audi centre so I'll probably have to go there for service at some point in the near future.

I went in at the weekend and my first impressions were not good. I reckon they need to move to some new premises for starters. The showroom is shabby, there's not much space, the staff were not too helpful.

Has anybody got any good or bad experiences to report.

Never used them as will be taking my RS4 to Battersea Audi who have looked after it since new. Guildford Audi are in temporary premises after being kicked out by AFN and will be moving to the site opposite the VW dealers still on Slyfield.

I actually brought my S4 from them .. Franko was very helpful and so far they have been very good ..

As for the space etc .. they have purchased the very large open field on the right as you turn down their road. Some time next year they will be opening a hugh dealership, so I been told Until then they are having some space problems

Hi Stan,
You may note from my user name I am not entirely happy (understatement)with Audi.
Guildford audi are OK as far a servicing goes (as are most dealers) but if you have problems or worse still suspect you have a problems you can forget the dealers, I have been sold a donkey of an "S" vehicle through the Audi dealer network and had to fight every step of the way to get work fixed under warranty.
The Chassis/steering problem I have had since owning the vehicle Guildford Audi put down to "tyre pressures", but the idiot service manager (who has now moved on) refused to allow any staff test the vehicle over 70 mph!!! duh!.
Take my advice go to AMD first pay for them to find the problem and then go back to the dealers and lean on them till your work is done.
Good luck.
