I have just bought 2001 RS4 Dealer preparing for next week hopefully. Any "good" companies for Insurance?
I, and a few others, are with with Privilege. Can't remember how much I paid, will have a look.

I'm with Direct Line for my S3 (now you are thinking whats that got to do with RS4 insurance?) - just wanted to point out it is cheaper for me to insure a standard RS4 than a chipped S3

I was paying about £900 for the RS6 with Norwich Union. I've just changed the policy over to my pending RS4 for the same price...I was kind of hoping it would be a bit cheaper....smaller engine, "cheaper" car etc.

Cows mate, not sheep. Sheep are in Wales, and it's only a short ride to Devon for you. 'Devon only knows why they make it so creamy' .

Currently paying £1450 Fully Comp, included is replacement cost of mods at £20k. They took the Sportec invoice as an equivalent to an engineering report. Not too bad really

No that is very good I reckon... when you have mods done do you list them on your policy??..
It's a bit difficult really because the insurance company will only give you market value, so how do you get a value for a one off Sportec RS4??

Thats right mate, all the mods are listed on the policy and refer to an appendix which is the Sportec invoice. Supposedly I get the market value of a new(?) replacement car, and the money to get the mods done again - similar to Bush's ICE cover. Pretty cool, and that's with Privelege as well.
