RS4 B8 Dealer Stamp

I have a B8 RS4 MY2014 with its second service due at 35,000 miles. I am outside the warranty and there are two Audi dealers in South Wales at Cardiff and Bridgend with a reputable indy being Euro-Performance in between. Is the dealer stamp worth the additional expense over the Indy, does it support the residuals and how is it perceived on resale? I plan on keeping the RS for at least 2 more years.

My last car was a 911 and after 10 years of ownership never went anywhere near Porsche apart from parts desk. I had outstanding service from a Porsche indy in Cardiff - Chris Denning Sports Cars and due to the length of time I had the car found it made little difference.

Any thoughts?

Different strokes for different folks. I personally would favour specialist stamps over Audi because most are useless but non enthusiasts will prefer dealer stamps. The 38k one is a biggy so potentially a good saving for you avoid the stealers

Dealer for servicing and stamp, specialists for any additional work. FASH cars will always sell faster and for higher money.

I had a call from Audi this afternoon offering to service my 2006 RS4.

I respectfully declined however they then instantly offered to price match local specialists providing they use genuine VAG components.

Might be worth knowing and testing with your local stealers.

Exactly what Sam said, however I’d buy a car with mrc or unit 20 service history too. Trust them more than the apprentice spanner monkeys at stealers.
