Runflats

Can you fit run flats to 21 inch RS6 wheels? What is the ride like?
Don't need them yet as just got the car, but would be nice to know?

My wife's got run flats on her Beemer, they're horrible things! No feel at the edge of grip.
Why would you want them? If I was driving her car, they're the first things Id take off!

Had them on my GT-R gave a firm ride & good grip

The wife's Cooper S had run flats as well; that was until she got a flat and trying to drive on them was awful. If I wasn't in the car with her and experienced it first had I wouldn't have believed it was so bad.
The run flats have now been ditched for a repair kit and standard tyres.

My wifes X5 has 21" runflats and they are ok, you must have tyre pressure monitoring if you are going to run runflats though.
