AMD Essex = Leg Ends

Post by HYFR » Fri Jun 14, 2013 8:22 pm

Just a quick post to say what an absolutely fantastic experience I've just had with AMD Essex.

They have just fit a Capristo to my R8 and couldn't have done a better job.

Despite them not having fit one before, they relished the challenge...as its slightly more complicated as it requires a control unit wired into the cars electronics.

They were supremely diligent, taking photos of the donor car install, ensuring when it was transferred over to my car they got it right first time.

Great communication throughout from Shaun.

Accomodated an early drop off and were kind enough to give me a lift to the nearby station and back in the evening.

They even found a load of road grime build up on my oil cooler...took a pic, emailed me it and cleaned it up FOC.

Then not only was the install perfect, service friendly and price more than competitive....they only went and invited me along to Brands Hatch tomorrow for a couple free sessions on track!!!

Fantastic.

I've used AMD couple of times previously and always had a good service...but haven't used them in a while, but from now on they will be getting all my business.

Thanks Shaun and his team.

That's reassuring news D K, I've just ordered my new milltek from AMD and i'm looking forward to their call to say it's arrived and to bring the car down to have it fitted so it's great to hear of such professional service. Top marks for AMD.

Your R8 must sound amazing with your new system.

Hey DK
Good to hear that AmD are continuing to provide first class customer service. I cant fault them so far with the service and professionalism that they have all provided together with giving me an RS4 as a loan car and then Shaun's Vauxpoo Astra VxR. Also Ben is a top boy and nothing is too much trouble!!!

Great Service, Great guys, Great Company

Can only echo other comments. Got mine back last week, everything sorted to perfection and even fixed a wiring issue for brake pad sensors for good will. Provided me with the vrs for a week also. Very professional, reliable and reasonable costs.

As an opposite - they installed my KWv3's and did not set them up properly and I had mis-matched suspension settings - I had no knowledge of this until four rings told me out of courtesy.
