Just taken delivery of a fantastic 2007 Audi S8. My Merc C63 contract was up after 2 years and as I had been very lucky and have survived to tell the tale I would go for something with 4 wheel drive. Had a couple of S8 previoulsy, the older models, and an RS6 Avant. All of them great cars apart from the DRC failures in the RS6!

Would love to hear from any other S8 owners out there with good and/or bad experiences. Especially interested in looking at pepping up the car. The best thing about the C63 was that great engine note and would love to hear from anyone who has taken the Milltek option on the S8 to see how that went and how it effected the sound and overall perfromance. Or any other performance enhancing option that may have been carried out.

Can't add anything about the S8 but I would love to hear about the C63 as I have been looking into getting one. Doesn't make financial right now but it will in the future. When I drove it I loved it but I didn't meet any corners with speed.

Nice! A Daytona S8 V10 has appeared round the corner from me within the last two months or so, 56 plate iirc, looks gorgeous!

Nicky, the C63 is just a complete animal . Absoluetly wonderful car but the back end can catch you unawares at anytime. The power is phenomenal.

The sound! Its just the best I have ever experienced.

I would have kept it but fancied a change and fancied living to see another year! That car was going to kill me I reckon. What an experience it is. THoroughly recomend one but be careful.

That S8 of mine is so effortless and smooth. All the toys B & O plus the superb ceramic brakes etc etc etc. Daytonna grey with black interior. Absoluetly love it.

Fuel consumption is actually worse than the C63 but it is a far bigger car.

Was going to buy a RS4 or maybe contract hire a new RS4 but value for money the S8 won hands down.

Milltek next I feel. Best place to buy them ?
