Filled the online quote info in last night, got a phone call first thing this morning. Good start.
Price was competetive with my Direct Line renewal, and probably better if my car was more modified.
Now please don't laugh too much, but my dad used to be with Saga and I still get the mail shots, so I gave them a try, not expecting much.
Surprise - very competetive (with Miltec declared) 40% less than DL/Sky and couple of nice extras. EU cover included and a potentially useful feature that allows another driver to drive if you are in the car and unwell. Could be handy ! So maybe it's not so bad being over 50 with a clean licence.
For younger people with modified cars sky seems like a good bet to me and the small experience I had was positive.
