DRL and side lights can be changed with the headlight in situ. But it depends on how small your hands are and how much skin you mind losing from your knuckles and how good you are at swearing. I've done it many times and it's a right bummer but completely possible. If you have hands like shovels then get someone else to do it. Don't halfords change bulbs for small fees?

Asked the wife for help - worked out well. I also recommend the following order if you do city/DRL lights. City first, then DRL. Get a nice city light LED one if you have not already. Don't get the Ziza - they suck. Had a few ones and finally a good one with canbus and no external resistors. HPB led city, works good and no errors. Sorry, off topic but while you are in there.

Several ones out there, 194 bulb type, LED is what I would do. Make sure the are equipped with canbus/resistor to not trigger bulb out. I had Ziza for years and not impressed (Ziza has external wiring/resistor). Even when they worked the here and there gave dash warning. From my experience, I know the high performance bulb ones work great and I run lots of their products for my cars, and very high quality. The HPB led does not have external resistor (all built in) which is another benefit. If you want, if they dont deal with customs, I gladly help you and send a set if you want. If so pm me. They are also bright, brighter than Ziza but not stupid bright which I like since they are used for accent. I went JDM, top of the line 1156 for DRL, and they are stupid bright but perfect for that application. I also tried some Amazon/eBay 194's and had a tough time with bulb error. I did hear the ALLA brand is good, but never tried those as of now. Cheers!
