Depends. Windows trims and exhaust are Matt I think and the grille is gloss. Not sure about roof rails on the avant.

Agree with Mike.

Just to add, the roof rails are matt on the Avant black optics pack and on Saloons there is a trim on the bumper/boot lid that loses the chrome.

No, the boot strip should be body coloured on black optic cars.

Edit: just realised your car is black so to be correct it should be pearlescent Phantom black, but gloss black will be close from a distance.

The 100% correct way is:
Matt black window trims
Gloss black Grille
Phantom black boot strip (assuming Phantom back car)

On the C7 you have quite a few options. You can have alu trim around the windows and roof rack and the front and rear bumper strips. I think you can also have alu windows and roof rack with body colured bumper trims. The mirrors are independent of this so you can have alu or glass black or carbon. But if the car is black then you can't have gloss black trim or mirrors, it has to be alu or the relatively expensive carbon option. I think the exhaust colour is silver for standard or black for sports exhaust (or am I confusing that bit with the B8?).
Forgive me if I've made mistakes as there are quite a few variations and its been a while since I specced one

Thanks Mike, So mine has the alu pack which has aluminium grill, blades, wing mirrors, roof rack, window surronds and lip over the exhaust, I have the sports exhaust which is matt black. So if I changed it to the optics I would have gloss black grill surround, matt or gloss black blades either side of the reg plate, matt black window surrounds, roof rack matt black lip over the exhausts and wing mirrors either matt or carbon fibre. Also is the gloss the piano black? Sorry for al the questions just trying to decide if I go ahead or not. Thanks

Yes but the mirrors rear bumper stril and blades will all be gloss not Matt. I think only the windows and rails are. Matt.
It seems to me that if it's external trim they refer to the shiney black as gloss black but when it refers to interior trim they call it piano black. To me it looks the same.
