Canbus Control Module- Auto gearbox

Hi Guys.
I've got a little problem with my auto box S4 B7 05 plate. It's changing fine on auto but not responding to manual and the cruise is also now not working.
I've hooked it up to Vagcom and got the code 02071 Local databus no signal. Been told I need to acquire a replacement control module. This is not a specific part for the S4 and is used in many VAG cars. Problem is, I need to know where it's located so I can check it and get the serial number off it to enure I buy the correct replacement.
I would appreciate some technical help please. Nobody seems to know in the B7 forum.
