Sport Mode Questions and wheel refurb

Post by wazlo79 » Fri Feb 06, 2015 8:59 pm

Hi I have been asked the question by somebody looking to buy my car about sport mode. When the button is pressed only the drivers seat squeezes you in the thigh and sides which I believe to be correct.. they don't squeeze you really tight but can increase it manually by the switches on the front right of the seat. The guy looking at my car thinks they should squeeze you a lot more? I think
they go a bit then if you want it tighter you do it manually? is this right?

Also he wants the wheels refurbed and says it will cost £100 a corner is this about right or can you suggest a better alternative??

Thanks

Sport Mode Questions and wheel refurb

Yes only the drivers seat. The way I've always worked them is to set the seats in normal driving mode to be snug. This way when sport mode is pressed they will squeeze you tighter based on the normal mode set (if that makes sense).

I'd say more like £50-£70 a corner for wheel refurb.

19" wheels would cost me £250 at trade prices to get a propper refurb or you could get the faces done for under £200.

But I wouldn't be nocking £400 off for some kurbed wheels unless your car is very very strongly priced!
