Dealerships.......Good and the Bad......

Post by befunky » Thu May 24, 2007 1:06 pm

Guys,

I know this has been mentioned before in another post but nothing was done after it. I have noticed alot of complaints about specific dealerships concerning services and customer services. We all talk about naming and shaming but could we not have a top ten list and a bottom ten list. What I see is we all Love our cars (like our babies) and have spent quite alot of money on them so when your baby goes in for a nappy change shouldn't we expect a fantastic service and customer service.

As my previous post says about my clutch exploding. It has taken them 6 weeks I pick the car up tomorow. But I have now been phoned even after the first scratch they did when they did my service(being fixed today) they have now managed to scratch it again!!! The same dealership scratched my friends car and denied all knowledge of it. Plus the fact my girlfriends dent that was there when picked up from brand new has still not been fixed 2 months later. What I am trying to say is that we should know who the bad and good dealerships are so that we all dont go through the same pain as I just have, and would not wish it on any of you. If Audi Customer services really look at things properly they could use this to review certain dealerships. We are the premium buyers from Audi!!

Thoughts?

Doncaster Audi 5*
Parts 10/10
Customer care 10/10

Not had it serviced yet but i have had some warranty work done:- Paint, all 4 wheels replaced and not a sniff of misconduct, i,ve had a couple of audis now and the parts bloke used to be at VW way back when i was heavily into that scene so i guess he knows my picky nature all too well, i get serious discount from this guy and over the period of about 5 yerars i restored a UR quattro and if that wasnt enough to send him crazy nothing will..........................

Just my personal experience so i thought i,d pass it on............i,m looking into B7 RS4 callipers and discs to see how much i can get them for so if anyone has a requirement for these i,ll see what he can do them for.

All north west Audi are not for the real enthusiast.
The people in many of the dealerships are lovely, but they don't seem to get it.
B burn, Preston, Stock port, Warrington, Lancaster, Bolton.

Really liked the people at Bolton and still go there for parts.
Also used Chester they are good people and have fitted after market parts. Cheater were so good they were considered to be friends.

The main thing to realise is that the dealers are main stream and you are lucky to get friendly help from them, especially when they know you want to mod your car.. They do their best.
Go independent for best results.
