Lol, sadly it doesn't pick up a fart down the Hog's Back near Guildford which is one of my fav blatting spots. Luckily I already know exactly where they hide, I just have to try to look out for unmarked...

I went past a marked police car on the hard shoulder at 95 today, he didn't care. Carried on eating his doughnut. The Nav was even showing me the temporary road works 50 MPH cameras, impressive. I'm really pleased with this new nav DVD, really useful, thanks again. :)

Footlong, I'm just about to order a 2010 RNS E. Do you know if yours is the non led or the led version? I understand there are both LED and non LED versions of the new 2010 model.

Edit: Non LED is the old model. I've bought a 2012 manufactured unit. Nice little upgrade from the 2004 version in it at the mo.

...and yours is coded to B7 A4 coding, right? That's what it accepted?

All I believe is that it was coded to A4 Amar, no idea what revision and not really up for picking it apart with Vagisil I am afraid. Mine is a 2012 job too.

So you mean that I don;t even have to pay for the courier service back to you? Are you sure? I still have the box and packaging so would just cling film seal the dvd case and put that in too. I was holding off on a proper thread about the discs until Bam and Ceveman73 had put them on but those girls are being slack with theirs.....

Apart from the revision 1.0 niggle with the spring clips that I sorted out myself, the disc are performing perfectly as expected. Once the pads bedded in they are just working. No screeching etc, behaving perfectly. I just need a final final final bleed of the system to be certain before I swap out the brembo pads for something better as the braking is still tame (perfectly compliant/predicatable though) for my tastes.

You can't take just my opinion on them and I wouldn't be happy to say buy them based just on my experience so far, wait for Bam and Ceveman73 to eventually slap them on imo. I don't know if Ceve has sorted out calipers yet so we could be in for a fair wait on that front. Bam is just being a waste of space, claiming that things like work, family and bringing up a baby are actually higher on the priority list, pfft.

As far as I am aware, the price is sposed to be around £1200. The three of us got ours for slightly less than that as a batch order and I provided the template kit which is what they based the design around.

I am pretty sure that I have said somewhere that BG Developments did the design and manufacturing work on these - http://www.bgdevelopments.co.uk/

David Fuller (Boss Man), did all the design work himself and was our point of contact throughout. He is Ex-Alcon too if memory serves, as well as the other guys there having Alcon/AP backgrounds if my noggin i working correctly.
