Bad morning!!

Post by swannny » Thu Sep 20, 2012 8:50 am

Morning guys, afternoon dunc!

Woke up this morning to find my car had been keyed down both sides.

Savage us the only way I can describe how I'm feeling right now, and if I ever find the little shits I'll smash their fingers!!!

Now I have the pleasure of dealing with More Than, wish me luck.
I used to own a 6, now I'm just a lurker!

I feel your pain. I had a crazy sister of an ex fall out with the ex and decided to key swirls all over every body panel of one of my cars when it was left at the parents house, lost a fortune on the car. A few years later I had some little scrote take a stone off the driveway and run it multiple times across the boot of one of my scoobs.

My brother-in-law had his car keyed. Lots of people did in his street did too. They eventually caught the culprit. A 90 year old woman who didn't like people parking in front of her house, even though it was a perfectly legal spot.

The very first car I ever bought brand new from a dealer was my Escort RS2000 (Mk2 - the droop snoot one like in the Professionals) in 1977. The very first night I had it it was parked in the road outside a flat I shared in Shepherds Bush just along from Loftus Road. QPR lost that evenning and I came out to find the car keyed the full length of the pavement side - several times!

The lesson I learned? At the end of the day, it's just a metal box on wheels......

I've calmed down a but now, you're right, it is just a metal box. All be it a very expensive one!

Insurance was easier to sort than I thought, it's been a long time since I claimed. It's going to my preferred bodywork Shop next week, so that's a relief! And on the plus side, any old imperfections will be sorted! I would like my inner door sills sprayed, got a couple of small scratches, so get that done at the same time!

Sprint blue does sound nice though...!

Shopp quite possibly meant Spring Blue as it is also an Audi colour.

Some scrote where I used to live
In Wavertree (Liverpool) decided to kick every wing-mirror off the cars on my side of the road - all the ones facing one way were just pushed in but the other way were all hanging off... Except mine which was completely untouched... Weird! Hope you get it sorted out man.

Unlucky dude, my sis had her Seat Leon keyed in the past. Not a nice feeling :(

How deep are the scratches? Can you get your nail into it? If not, maybe they'll mop/polish out... Otherwise a paint job i guess.

Good luck sorting it out.

Bang out of order! These hunts need their hands cutting off.

Few years ago someone went down the in-laws road with a tin of paint stripper and did around 40 cars in one hit. I was suppose to be staying round that night but decided to go out on the lash so had a lucky escape.
