Hello,
I'm a new member from Australia!
I joined as I recently purchased an RS6 which will become a project car and need some assistance in finding the following resources:
1. Exploded diagrams of engine so I can identify parts and gaskets etc.
2. Service/repair guide for engine regarding clearances, torques etc
3. Online elsawin resource. I used to visit a site which gave you access to the diagrams and service manulals which looked like an online version of Elsawin other than it was European I can't remember it. Anyone know?
I would also appreciate any other information that can be provided, at this point in time I am planning to freshen up the engine so I need to know as much info as possible about it so I can get it done ASAP.
Thanks in advance!!

Welcome, the resource that is like Elsawin you're thinking of is called 'VAGCAT'.

You are thinking of Elsaweb:
http://elsaweb.spaghetticoder.org/
Vagcat is the online version of the parts catalogue.

Born in South Sydney, raised in Forster/Tuncurry on the mid-north coast. Started at Sydney uni but finished in UTS. Left for European travel in 2000 now live in London, still have a semi-detached in Newtown, Syd.
What are your plans for the beast? Do you have any idea what a heavily MRC modified C5 would fetch back in Oz? I've almost given up on shipping it home, I'm too attached and now I have a 3 month old son, big travel seems a distant memory.

I think that's the first time I've written my spec on this forum, I feel like a show off now *tries to clear the blood in the water around himself*
