Daytona and full black out

Post by Ryan_Pestell » Fri Jun 15, 2012 9:39 am

The car is a plus anyway so most things are black optics

But was thinking about black Audi rings front and rear and possibly the rs6 badge aswell.

Anyone done this?

Too much black?

Hi mate mine is daytona, black optics + black exhaust and body colour mirrors etc. only chrome bits are front and back rings, also the RS6 badge. Considered blackening everything, but I think it will be a step to far mate. The car will lose its class imo too chavvy, gangster spec etc try photoshoping a picture or black tape your badges see what you think.

i like the black audi circles on the grill,

well, should i say, i ordered a black badge last week, but it hasn't turned up yet! wether i actually like it on the car is another question.

window tints happening soon, but not going gangsta black, i'm not a massive fan of the real dark look on windows.

My pet hate is the black Audi rings. That's just me though.

I have a silver plus and have black rings, front and back, also black and carbon RS6 badge on the rear, looks good.
I think it would not look so good on a none black optics though.

I have a Daytona Plus with black Audi rings, and black 20" C6 alloys. Looks perfect to me.

OK here we go, some quick mobile pics. Car is filthy as I just got back from Le Mans last night, but you get the general idea. I like it, others may not.

LIke :) its a personal thing I know but I belive the Daytona and Black cars benefit from optics, titans and additional window tints, smoked rear lights but as the man says not gangster black outs! Black rings nice addition also.... but where did that plus sign come from!!!? Are you parked on Coronation street Im sure I can see the Rovers ...

Is that a res or non res on there bud?? Interested in the sound difference from a Plus standard exaust if you can help.

I bought the Plus emblem from the States a while back, matches the Audi font perfectly! Here's the link:

http://chromelettersandnumbers.com/ital ... -sign.html

Exhaust wise, I've had both res and non res. I found the non-res was just too boomy inside the cabin and sounded a bit naff, almost like there was a hole in the system. Res is still loud, louder than the Plus system, but quiet on the motorway when cruising. With the catless downpipes it sounds even better, and you can hear the turbos spool up nicely. :D

Thinking of plasti-dipping the RS6 badges so that they match the Audi emblem - thoughts?
