I recently purchased an RS4 B7 Avant and called Admiral as they are my current insurance provider. They offered me an exceptional multicar policy and even gave me 15 years NCB free of charge so i could insure my RS4 with them. I am 43 and it cost me £300 to insure the RS4 and that's with breakdown & legal cover included. An absolute bargain !!!

i must be going wrong somewhere!

i'm 39, 12 yrs ncb, no accidents or points(yet!)

i pay for the rs6 £590 protected with legal, breakdown etc

i then pay £550 protected for an audi a4 2.o se.

so combined i'm paying 1140 a year. god only knows why the a4 is so high, the renewal price was over 800! tried to tell the muppets at more than that the renewal price on a bog standard a4 is dearer than the rs6, and they replied that different car manufacturers have different prices! yep, that baffled me too!
I used to own a 6, now I'm just a lurker!

A lot of these prices will be down to postcodes - If there has been reported "issues" being car thefts or accidents in the local area ( 10 miles or so) it will make it a higher risk. I have the same problem with my postcode but I argued the toss with the insurer that I live more or less in the middle of nowhere with a sheep as my nearest neighbour and posing no risk at the the present time to my car! Yes Bam before you say it, we are on good terms! Swanny try a multicar policy with Admiral I made some good savings as others have. You can also do an accident black spot search on the web which will give you an idea of incidents around where you live.
