good time for hotchkis?

Well I finally have my pss9's for the 6!

A simple question though from you savvy 6 owners..I do have a bit of spare cash left over, enough I think for some arb's, so is it worth changing these at the same time?

I'm also changing the top mounts, all 4 top arms, track rod ends, arb links.

I was going to change the 4 bottom arms, but was told from tps that they are £128 each plus vat, so looked in the file of receipts, and I have one from brighton audi last year saying all 4 were changed..hence the spare cash!

be nice to see my car at the proper height, and i'm hoping the handling will be much better!

for those who have it, where did you buy the kit?

is it possible to source it in europe?

You can get it direct from the USA (customs, etc to pay) or you can get it from Grizz. Costs about the same either way.

I'm seriously thinking about this, too. Bit of a hassle to install though. Zorsts have to come off, I believe.

No doubt it is a huge hassle buying from the US. Getting the kit from Grizz might be your best option then.

Grizz does free fitting if you buy them from him I believe. Very tempted to bring some back from the States as I am out there in three weeks time.
A set of Skis as excess baggage one way is only £17.50.... Who the feck brings back Skis from Miami though, reckon they'll clock on? A set of Golf clubs is a tenner, with no restrictions to weight. Boxed the rear ARB alone weighs 6kg, which gives us something to gauge, I really need to find out the weight and dimensions before my trip for both bars, unboxed.

Well the pss9's have been on a week and it's totally transformed the ride of the car. The control valves on the drc must have been affecting the ride quality badly. The drc shocks and springs have only been on about 10k miles and were like new, I may put them up for sale!

Ordered hotchkis from grizz 2 weeks ago, think there on back order but I'm in no rush just yet!

I still miss the more level ride IMO of the DRC. I am starting to roll around more and more as I become more acrobatic again with my handling of this car. I already have PSS9/H&R ARB's but with no proof out there that the Hotchkis are really any betteer than the H&R ones I am loathed to pay out AGAIN.......

which H&R ARB?

had a look last week on their website and H&R only indicates coilovers and springs for the RS6

The H&R ARBs are for an A6 quattro, not RS6 specific.
