Was just driving through Wokingham and spotted a lovely dolphin grey Avant roaring up behind me. The driver waved as he passed in the one-way system. Last three of the reg was DUU. If you're on RS246 mate, (or if anyone knows who you are) thanks! It was my first fellow RS6 owner interaction and it put a massive smile on my face!

I've got a resonated Milltek catback and Milltek catless 3" downpipes. It sounds epic, very quiet and no drone when just going down the motorway, and a very non intrusive low and deep V8 burble around town but very loud and unmistakeably V8 when you really floor it. I wasn't happy with the resonated catback alone, but with the downpipes, it is perfect. I'm glad I haven't gone non res as now I have no drone whatsoever and it is still very loud when I want to shock people.

Will it pass MOT being catless?

Amanda says hers does and that is with Audi, you just need to get the car really hot, but I'm not banking on it, especially as I think the new rules say the cats have to physically be present. Loads of guys are running the Milltek catless so I'll have to pick their brains, I have a while untill my MOT so will worry about that nearer the time. For now, I'm enjoying the extra 30 BHP the cats were zapping. I know Footlong went for sports cats but they are £2k +.

I think I must have seen you driving along Molly Millars Lane the morning after I got my 6 - was definitely a C5 and same colour as yours. I was having mine valeted by the kind fellows at the hand car wash having only secured the purchase 6 hours earlier.
Goodto know there are a few more owners in the Woky area. I live quite close to the Wokingham Tesco. I was going to pull over for a chinwag and to compare notes but was unsure of the protocol.

They may be expensive but worth every penny for the time and hassle it would cost me to swap them out every year/cross fingers and pray to the gods that it passes without etc..... They also sap sap pretty well bugger all power compared with full decat in the scheme of things.
