Just wondered if anyone had skimmed RS6 discs?
Is it worth trying before replacing?

What our good friend Ringo neglected to mention is that there touch more involved than just slapping on a pair of 390mm discs

I was very interested in one of these big brake upgrades myself but am holding off as I might be going a different route personally. Amanda and a few others are running Unit20's kit though and there have been some discussions on here if memory serves.

Yep, guilty. The calliper does need shifting and a disc spacer IIRC.

Ringo, what's the quad HID mod?

I changed the main beam bulbs with 55W Xenons. When all four (main and dipped) arcs are burning, the result is ridiculous brightness. I first spotted them on R1NGAs car when it was up for sale.

But can you flash them?

Yeah, I thought that would be an issue, but near instant ignition. The flash brightness is on a par with a halogen in my opinion. You do need 6-7s for maximum intensity. I could do a video when I get the car back in the week.

done it on my a4 as well, especially on these dark country roads, the results are worth it.

Absolutely! Even the Mrs said they were good, and I rarely get good car related comments from her. Hopefully you will think of a smarter way to manage the cables and ballast.
