Dunc, how were these then? I want to LED my numberplate :). If you could take a night shot that would be fantabulous my dear ;). I stumbled across on Ebay this morning and it had me wondering - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Number-Licens ... 3f0a7bbf52

I was also contomplating putting brighter interior roof bulbs in as I have fitted LED interior ones to other cars and they can be far better if you buy well. Not sure how ours would behave though due to them dimming on/off. Sure somebody knows all about this so I might just go do a search.....

Was just about to gwet those ones from your link but just to double check, they are bright enough? Don't want to be getting pulled over for my rear plate being dim. Would rather it was too bright if anything! Also, pretty sure I know this but are none of the interior numberplate lights canbus? as in I can use anything? Sorry.

There's no blown bulb detection on the number plate bulbs IIRC. Same for sidelights.

I can recommend these guys. Lot's of guys from 911uk and Pistonheads use them. The owner is a car nut and has a 993 TT. I have interior Leds from them for my 993 and they are bright and it made a huge difference.

Mmm, sorry, I prefer either stubby or whippy but not semi-stub. Reminds me of those dogs that have had the tails docked at not quite the right length.
