I don't think that's a problem with the car at all. Mine does the same. It's a feature of model cars with climate control.

If my A/C gets turned off when wet, the car steams up a lot too.
EDIT: Have you got a solar sunroof?

It's a known problem with the solar roof.
There was a wiring mistake in the factory. There is a fix for it that is known to Audi and well documented, but I have never bothered.

You definitely shouldn't have condensation if you don't have a solar sunroof. You checked your carpets for damp?

I had the rear washwipe pipe problem in the passenger footwell last year when it was really cold, but i thought i dried them out properly.I put a de-humidifier in there for ages!!.Maybe i need to put it back in there.

Must be another source for the humidity. It wouldn't still be wet after a year.
I would suspect your pollen filter or aircon drain.
Might be worth checking your washwipe repair too.
Also, look to see if you've got any water in the spare wheel well.

Ive got water (brown coloured) in the spare wheel well. i noticed when after replacing my rear foglight and opening the trunk, there was a fair amount of water coming from the rear foglight area, thats why the light got rusty and broken ...so i think the outer foglight/licenceplate unit isnt correctly fitted...should there be a gasket in between the unit and the trunk...? Or maybe the rear windowwasher is leaking...

Mavada, a lot of the time it's the gastket on the rear light cluter that fails and lets water in.
Also there should definitely be a gasket between the fog light and the tailgate. Yours missing?

i tried to remove the rear cluster but it looks like its glued... couldnt get it off....
it appears it has leaked for ages, cos the housing of the rear foglight was very very rusty, cleaned it and the light worked again...
i have to look at the gasket between the foglight and the tailgate now the inner cover isnt replaced yet...
Thanks Ben
