Central London parking

I'm staying at the Landmark hotel for two days on Marylebone road. They want £80 for parking. Anyone know anywhere better (read cheaper) to leave the plus nearby, so I can justify taking the plus to the misuses rather then the train... :(

id get the train

take the car to a nice hotel out in the country where you can drive some nice roads

london is NOT made for RS cars

i hate driving my RS cars in London ... I'd much rather take the Nissan Note and take the million speed bumps at 50mph

Nice one DK. Roughly whereabouts are you located?

From memory there is a NCP round the corner (well a couple of streets away) from the Landmark on Crawford St and that will be under half the price of the Landmark for a couple of days. I assume you are coming during the week because at the weekend you could hunt around for some single yellows post 1.30pm north of there...

For the record, I live in central london and quite enjoy driving like a loon in my RS....bring it in and show it the sights.

Call me paranoid, but I personally wouldn't be advertising on the open internet where and when I was going to be parking my RS6 unattended for several days...

As the man says leave it at home bud. The smoke aint made for the 6. Dont risk it not being there on your return but failing that leave it somewhere safe on the outskirts of town and tube it in.

I've driven in central plenty of times and like Mr. fickle am fine with it. I can understand you being paranoid Ben, but I'm not going to tell anyone where I park it, no one now knows when I'll be taking it either.
Dunc - there are trains but I worked out they cost the same or more in fuel, man maths.

I've done the same thing when staying in a London hotel for the weekend and it cost a similar amount. When there, I didn't use the car at all, so it really was just to get there and get home. As much as I detest using public transport, I would probably take the train if i was going to stay overnight again.

I spoke to Grizz, and he said only some of the oil will leak from it, so not very urgent. I will head over to see him as soon as I get a free weekend!
