Shaking brake pedal

I cannot stand this vibrating brake pedal, it shakes and makes a weird sound whenever I go over anything but the smoothest bit of tarmac. I can actually move it left to right just a bit with my hand. Has anyone got the part number of the part that needs replacing and an exploded view of how to get to the bastard from etka?
I think this problem is common so I'd like to document it on here rather then take the easy route and get Martin to do it, I know it's a pain in the butt, but he who dares and all that...

As far as I am aware , there is no short cut , grizz has worked out how to rebush the pedal , but only if everything unscrews to allow insertion of new bushes , shearing off the screws is not an option to choose
Seems to be down to the rigidity of the suspension
You learn to live with it , certainly not love it though !!

Thanks Phil - there is no way I'd learn to live with this though, I'd rather trade her in for a D3 S8, it irritates me that much. Makes it feel as though it isn't secure and it's falling apart. Maybe mines worse then others, I dunno. But It's worth my time pursuing, I might even be known as a hero around here thereafter, similair to Shopinnit. I cannot believe this hasn't been documented with some Haynes esque photos and a brief write up yet

Mines has very slight movement and can onoly feel it when driving silly. When spoke to grizz about it he said it was a tinker of a job. Both him and MRC have repairs for it. Sorry but can't help any more than that at the moment. I will have a look at it the weekend if i get chance cause it can't be any harder than the machines i work on every day

F*ck, sorry mate. Work has been bloody mental, been doing 53 hours a week and not had time to do jack all. Got to sort my cv boot this weekend what should only take a couple of hours. Still haven't sorted the kit to pressure test the coolers but not had a leak yet! so up to you if you still want me to do them for you but not pressure test them?

MRC strap the pedal up to stop vibration and it works a treat, they did mine.

Mart.

Don't apologise Dunc! Well I could take them out on Saturday. How long will it take to refurbish them? Have you got a link to the silver spray? If your confident that's okay without pressure testing then that is okay with me. I'm based in Leamington Spa.

Ceveman - Do you mind sharing how much MRC charged for that? Feel free to PM if you prefer.

I've never had problems with the brake pedal vibrating, just the accelerator... hmmmm, just realised that sounds much worse when written down.

Nearly anything can be read out of context nowadays, I had to think long and hard about the wording in my first post so not to que the school boy laughs at the back.

Edit: I cannot believe I actually put 'long and hard' in the above post considering what I said, I didn't even do that on purpose.

For the record Amar, I wasn't referring to the 'fnarr' in my post (although I see it now you've pointed it out). I was saying that it sounds worse that my accelerator has an issue instead of my brake pedal.

Any silver spary will do mate, you could even have them black but it makes it harder to see if they are leaking. I'm pretty confident that they won't leak. I could have them done by tuesday night and either get them delivered to you or drop them down my self.
