Unblocking drain holes

Is there a guide anywhere to do this? Just had all 4 windows down and I KNOW it wasn't the key fob as it was not in my pocket.
So I'm now paranoid about the module under the passenger seat. The carpet doesn't feel soaking wet, but we did have a lot of rain last week.
The nearest visual guide I found is this:

Audi C5 chassis supposed to be the same as the Passat, but obviously in the Passat guide talks about removing the battery which is in the rear on our cars.
So how different is it on the RS6 campared to that guide?
Cheers in advance, Mo.

I don't think it's that different. Instead of a battery you've got the ECU. Probably the best thing to do is see if you can spot the drain, maybe blow it out with compressed air or something.
I think the main problem is on the pollen filter side and that should be very similar.
There is also the A/C drain that can get plugged. Might be worth looking into that, too, you 've got water ingress. You can see the drain funnel when you take the glovebox out, just to the side of the centre console.

Cool, cheers shop. Should have added to
this thread really but hey ho..
Is there an easy way to pull the passenger footwell carpet back to get at the canbus module? Seems to be loads of plastic trim to remove.. presumably remove all that and then just pull the carpet back or is there more to it? Had a helluva time just getting to the rear-wash tube in there and that was right in the corner. Am I better off getting MRC to do this job?
Amar posted an article from Audipages, but that was for the A8.. anyone know if there is one for the RS6?
EDIT:
this is the article Amar posted. Similar to RS6?

Might be worth taking this off the keyfob with vagcom just in case and see if it happens again? Techie took this off the family Sportback when we took it to MK not long after we got it - think you were there for that meet as I remember him (dad) saying he loved your big blue avant. Parents house in Hampshire doesn't have a car port or garage, and the kitchen is right next to the car parked outside, hence I suggested we took it off the key after reading so many horror stories of people finding all four windows down the next morning!
