Hello all
I bought my 2004 RS6 back in Novermber and I love it. And touch wood up until now I've not had any problems other than servicable (brake pads etc.) go on it.
I have been searching the forums looking for any online store that people use and the only one I can find is vagparts that has unfortunetly closed down. Any other online stores that you guys use and can recomend?
The reason I ask is I need a boot for nearside cv joint as mine has split. I'd normally just go to a dealers but I'm out of the country at the minute and I'll be using the car for a relativly long drive shortly after I get back so would perfer the part be waiting for me to fit when I get home.
Thanks in advance

Re: New(ish) owner
Why is it that there is an online store for everything imaginable on the supernet but it's so difficult to buy OEM car parts online? Especially for VAG cars. Bizarre that no one has spotted the opportunity.
I would much rather buy my bits online than have to do to the dealer and deal with some smug salesperson who will probably try to sell me the wrong parts.
It can be done... Look at worldimpex.com - Even their prices are reasonable. So why not in the Europe?
Rant off

Retail is £29.65 + vat for the offside one I've just bought, but I managed to get a few quid off.

Re: New(ish) owner
Does it have to be online? i get all my parts from http://www.thetradepartsspecialists.co.uk/ luckily they are about 2 miles from me.
Avus Avant, RNS-E mk2 with sds and Bluetooth, Milltek, Hotchkis, Bilstein, Forge, ITG, A.C.E, Wagner, FBMFSW, MTM.
Re: New(ish) owner
Only has to be online because at the minute I'm out in Kazakhstan and would like to get it delivered before I get home so I can fit it straight away. Got a long drive to do when I get back and would rather it was sorted. Normally i'd just go to a dealers and order one.
To be honest i'm not having much luck online so think I'll end up getting a friend to go buy a one from my nearest Audi and then sort him out the cash when i get home. sure he'll be ok with £30.

That's good, they are normally cheaper thn Audi for the same genuine parts with 2 years warranty.gary81 wrote:Well after much seacrhing on the internet yesterday and turning up no results I've ended up asking a friend to buy the part from a local Audi delaership for me and I'll pay hime whenI get home.
