i know i saw this one...
shame about the rear end.... same colour as mine and looks similar apart from im cream leather with blue piping and cream ala head lining..
but i just could not bring myself to frankinstein mine lol
i need a cat c one
im just not sure how i would explain to the misses that i need a second RS6 lol
the potential of a manual rs6 would be awesome! there was another guy on here building a 7-800bhp one i think? if i was going todo it this would what i would do.. not sure the diesel box could take that much power/torque tho..
another thing is when im not driving mine long distance which i never do... im lucky if i get 200 miles from a tank!
this one looks like a tidy job interior looks like a factory manual!

The issue is the ECU. I think all the manual conversion so far have either used bespoke ECUs or have been S6 engines that have been "turbo'd"

I have no experience of them, I'm afraid. I'm betting that they aren't cheap though

And probably difficult to program correctly. Probably not a DIY job.

Yeah, but I don't think anyone but Mihnea could have done it

well just come back from a trip to the nurburgring with over a dozen other cars and we all know what the drive there is like let alone the track ! and it didnt miss a beat !
if you gassing it then the fuel does go down somewhat quickly but it is doing around 15 mpg at a constant hundred mph or thereabouts.
as for project cost...........

nice one dude!... you are tempting me very much with this... i was eager to find out how it all went as i knew this was a long term plan for me
i might take a different tack and aim for 700-800bhp on autogas

, but i dont think i dare do it to mine..
