Hi Guys
Im thinking of some new wheels for the RS6 and want to stick with 19's
My question is, what is the correct size /offset /PCD as I dont want to be messing around with spacers etc?
Actually looking at some Gallardo reps in a 19x8.5
Thanks in advance
Stu

ET 35 IIRC. Very flash wheels you're looking at but be mindful you're losing some width as OEM is 9x19 (PDC112 BTW). Have you thought about how the 8.5x19s are going to fill your arches?
There are a number of wheel/tyre fitment calculators out there.
This is ok (I've already entered your offsets and tyres into the URL below)
http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?wi ... mit=Submit
However, this one is BY FAR the best because you can enter the bodywork measurement to ensure you're still within the arches OR too far in, I found it the most useful:

This is an Audi guy with Gayhardo rep wheels with some serious poke ‘n’ stretch going on, are you brave enough?

That is undrivable surely? (despite the proof in the last pic!

)
One mid-corner bump and it's dented wheel arch time.

Looks a bit too chavvy for my liking. Maybe if the wheels were not chromed and the car not slammed so much?

Yes, very chavy looking. Nup, still very drivable the stretch of the tyre ensures there is no fouling inside the arch (rolled) and the camber will pull the wheel into the body just clearing the arch. Wrong fitment, correct offset.

Cheers for the help!!! Are the standard wheels 9 inch wide then? I thought they were only 8.5? This may cause issues as I want it to be as close to original as possible!!
Looks like the Audi in the pics has used Gallardo rears all round? Arent they 10 inches wide?
Another thing...............will it clear my brakes and what are peoples thoughts on spacers as I have always avoided them like the plague!!
Thanks again!!!

Problem is the C5 RS 5 spoke wheels are EVERYWHERE! It has to be one of THE most rep'd wheel. In my street alone there's a Ford Focus, an A3 and 2 A4s that have them fitted. I got over it pretty quickly.
Yes, OEMs are 9x19s ET 35 PDC 112. The Gayhardos in the pics are replicas 19x8.5 front and 19x11 rears

I too hate the use of spacers but that will limit your choice as 9x19s are hard to come by. It also doesn't help that when you enter 2003/2004 Audi RS3 into most of the big name on-line wheel sellers they incorrectly think the C5 RS came with 8.5x19s, probably why you arrived at that conclusion. Keep in mind that you can fit 9.5x19s to the C5 RS (lots of us do) or you can fit 9x20s that will fill out the arches more, see some previous postings on here from RS6Dave. The C6 RS 5 point triple spokes 20â€

Wow, you looked at all of those wheels?! Agreed, the OEMs look good, just very common.

If you do buy some new wheels and want to sell the old ones give me a shout, mine "came" with 20" which look ok but are too wide front are 19" rear 19.5" and just stick out too much, been looking for some originals for a few months now.
