RS6 C5 compression ratio?

Post by Milka » Sun May 16, 2010 10:06 am

Hey all, I'm trying to get to the bottom of what the compression ratio is on the RS6 4.2v8tt?

There are a lot of sites saying 9.3:1 and just as many saying 9.3:1, the Audi Self Study Program specs it as 9.8:1, so I'm assuming it's correct. I have looked at the Brochures but could not find one which stated the compression ratio.

If you post please let state where you got your info from, and please not Wikipedia specs.

Thanks

Compression ratio is 9.5 : 1 according to Elsawin. No reason to doubt it.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper
