Back in the day Oettinger were all the rage for VAG and BMW.

Bought by an ex-MI5 agent, really! What did he do, walk in and say "The names Bond, James Bond i'm with MI5 and I want your best car and make sure it has a gaudy interior".

Has the seller got any paperwork to prove it, maybe this guy got a mention in the book about MI5?

Obviously he meant to say 'bought by some guy from MFI'. Operational security laws dictate that any car owned / used by a governement agency will be replated and sold on annonymously, if not crushed. I know this from experience as my old Commanding Officer in the Marines had an RS6 saloon as his Staff Car that was previously used as a courier vehicle in Northern Ireland. Then one day it was low loaded and then crushed!

Asside from that, surely if you drink Martini's your not going to pick such a horrific interior colour. And why would said agent want the car to be emblazened with all the tacky stickers and naff wheels. I thought the understated, stealth look would have been more fitting.

Its rubbish innit. I expect the interior is that colour to hide the blood stains.

besides- if its a one off- not very subtle for a spook is it. I mean, you'd hear the bazzard coming from 7 miles away.

Blood stains from the bleeding eyes of any passengers he may have had.

I saw this car about a year ago having some work done at an independant garage in Lincoln. Shortly afterwards it was on sale with Fontain - from memory it sold at 18k.
I think the interior could have been spec'd from factory using the Audi Exclusive range.
Personally, I'm not keen about the alloys - they were the height of fashion 7 years ago, but now..??
And the silver painted door handles.....well.....

the alleged hp and torque have seen off the box it would seem.........

........but according to the seller we have nothing to worry about. I wonder if that would stand in court if the box were to go again!!

Personally I doubt whether its even 540hp......

Ive seen this car at RSD when it was having the 540BHP conversion back when i had my S4.
It was the first in the country to revieve the 540BHP oettinger upgrade if my memory serves me correct. and it was a pricey upgrade as i was considering it as my next move.

It was also an MI5 agent who owned it when the conversion was done as i remember the owner of RSD telling me a few stories
