Anyone fitted one of these exhausts?
Anyone fitted one of these exhausts?
I know most people go for the Miltek option, but I quite like the Quad exhaust look...

Miltek is an option but I'd like something a little different I thinK!
Thanks for your advice in advance

Very nice infact but is it worth the extra???
RE: Re: RE: Anyone fitted one of these exhausts?
I wanted something different too but I also wanted the Milltek system.
I ended up buying the system without the Milltek tailpipes (which were in my mind well overpriced), and brazed on some relatively inexpensive stainless tailpipes with carbon sleeves (£25 ea). Just the ticket.
There's a pic in my gallery for anyone who'se interested.
Nessie.
Don't know if this'll work??

How about some BN pipes? I've heard good things about them.

Usual suspects mate: MRC or Unit20.
Prices have come down a tad so you're looking at around £750-£800.
Worth every penny!

Milltek exhausts are overpriced TAT.RS6Steve wrote:Maybe be a Miltek, not sure I can jusify the cost.

If you can get a custom exhaust fabricated, you'll achive a much nicer tone, without the boom that acompanies EVERY milltek system and for a fraction of the cost.
Plus a system that fits perfectly on your car...

any personal experience golfather? who would you recommend and what's your issue with the exhaust note of the Milltek?golfather wrote:Milltek exhausts are overpriced TAT.RS6Steve wrote:Maybe be a Miltek, not sure I can jusify the cost.

You'll find that even a custom dual system isn't achievable for cheap money so for a few quid more the Milltek is a viable and proven alternative.
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Anyone fitted one of these exhausts?
I'd be interested in any specs of an exhaust system anyone might have as I know a place that makes custom exhausts near me who are very good.

How much would I be looking at?grizz wrote:I've got 4 non res milltek in stock.. I can do them at a very good price if ordered before the 1st jan .. grizz
I have always changed the exhausts on my cars, but i'm finding it hard to justify if it has little performance gain.
Thx

you NEED to change the exhaust on the RS 6 to the NON RES. It totally transforms the car. It takes on a completely different personality. The OEM exhaust is virtually SILENT in comparison
