RS6 wanted!

Hello, i'm looking to buy an RS6 c5 to keep my b5 company.. anyone who may know of a healthy one whether private or trade, i'd be interested!

Can be any colour other than black, pref alcantara interior and de chromed.. though this isn't too important.
Must be low mileage 50kish or less.. unless it has a serious upgraded spec, then i'd consider higher.
Having had a good once over check by a specialist such as MRC or Unit 20 would be great too.

I'm planning to ditch the drc, remap, full exhaust to whatever 6 i eventually find anyway... so it would be a bonus if the right car came along with all this already done.

I've got a budget of around £20k

Any help would be much appreciated boys!

Cheers!

there are 3 members cars for sale on here

I think all three offer excellent value for money over any of the RS 6's on the market elsewhere

- mine - cheap, Audi warranty to Sept 10 and already has MRC engine and box map, but saloon and higher mileage
- GregR1's - lowish miles avant with Audi warranty Feb 10
- Estrop (sp.) - lowish miles saloon with Audi warranty May 10

Thanks David :)

What I'd say to the OP is that you'll be less and less likely to find a sub 50k mile car thesedays, given the last ones rolled out of the factory in October '04.

I did two months ago 45.5k on a very late 52 plate, mint and absolutly loving it, just keep looking and don't rush in.
(thats not a dig at the cars above as anyone can see these are very well looked after cars).

I did actually have a deposit down on a mint 2 owner RS6 in daytona with only 45k on it down in Kent.. a garage called ADG sevenoaks was selling it at 18k, unfortunately the deal fell through as the finance company were being utter bawbags at the time due to my age and low credit history.. looking for something a bit like that again, possibly higher mileage if the spec is outstanding :)

Ah well, glad it went to an enthusiast on here :)
I made them check your 6 so thouroughly next door in Giallos before even putting a deposit down... lovely car, enjoy it!

Was everything ok in the end?

Yeah I got a good deal and traded in my E46 M3 for it.

I have just had to have some minor repairs done (see other thread below this one) but aside from that its a really sorted car and am very happy with it.

Believe they had actually taken two separate deposits on the car when I came wading in and snapped it up!

Sell you it, if you want 25k!.......................

what do you mean by this? as all RS 6's come pretty much loaded and the only real options are a bit useless...

like electric folding rear blind. . . . :rocker:

You have to upload your avatar onto the internet somewhere and then link to it.
