Ok so I know my little screen in the dash will tune in to TV, show satnav and CD info but is it possible to play DVD`s through it? Also I have noticed phone settings and a phone mic in the headlining.
Could someone please tell me how or if I can get the phone working and also how to get DVD capibility?
What do I need to buy, how much, where from and is it possible to fit ones self or a dealer job?

it wont play dvd's. . . . have you got phone prep in the arm rest ? if so, then you'll need a cradle

Nothing in the armrest. Could I buy a DVD player and fit?

You'll have to get a DVD player that has AV output. YOu can then get the Kufatec adapter for £16 and plug it into the tuner in the boot. THen you'll have DVD through the navi. Search this site for Kufatec.

For the phone, by far the easiest is to fit a bluetooth kit. Parrot or something. I'm sure some people have opinions on this and there have been quite a few posts. Personally I just put my phone on speaker and drop it in my breast pocket

Next, I cant find anywhere that sells JUST the DVD player. They all seem to come with screens of various descriptions.

For the DVD, get any one you like. I like Alpine, but anything will work.

Get that Kufatec cable, add it into the tuner connecter in the boot, behind the trim behind the left wheel well.

Connect the DVD player to the Kufatec adapter and bob's your mother's brother.

I`m thinking, would it be possible to get a couple of screens and run them off it as well?
Also if this is possible would the screens be able to display the tv when that was on or am I getting carried away??

Yes. Mine has 2 alpine screens in the rear headrests. All 3 screens can display DVD or TV (although I have a separate TV tuner for the rear headrests).
